For many adults, the relationship with their dog is central. Dogs have a unique way of grounding us, offering comfort and helping us connect to our emotions. It's where we can soften. It's where we can land. And where we don't have to perform. For many helpers, the relationship with their dog is the one place they are not the strong one. Here we can honour that relationship.
This is not dog training.
It is not behavior modification.
It is not performance-based.
It is relational work.
It’s about connection, presence, and care. Whether you’re navigating grief, seeking regulation and calm (and your dog's too), or simply looking to deepen your bond with your dog, we create a space where both you and your animal companion can thrive.
My work with you may explore:
Your relationship with your dog matters. It deserves care.

Losing a cherished animal companion can be deeply painful, and the grief often feels invisible to others. I provide a space to honor that loss, process emotions, and navigate the complex feelings that come with saying goodbye to a beloved friend.
Your relationship with your dog is not just companionship — it’s emotional. It carries tenderness, responsibility, attachment, and sometimes complexity. In therapy, we can make space to understand what this connection represents in your life and how it reflects the ways you love, care, and allow yourself to be known.
Dogs are deeply responsive to our internal states. When you feel anxious, hurried, or overwhelmed, they often feel it too. In session, we focus on cultivating regulation and presence together, allowing both of you to experience greater calm, safety, and connection.
As a therapist, a helper, and a dog owner myself, this work is close to my heart. I know firsthand how deeply our lives intertwine with our dogs — how much they hold, how much we hold for them. Alongside my clinical training, I’m also a certified canine massage therapist, which allows me to support the relationship from both sides with care, respect, and lived understanding. This isn’t just an area of interest for me — it’s a relationship I value in my own life, too.

My 20 minute consultation is a chance to talk, feel things out, and understand what working with me could look like. There's no pressure- just a conversation to help you decide if this feels right for you.
